D.C. Current General Manager Matt Dewhurst and the entire organization extends a special Thank You to the wonderful fans who have made this season possible:

Dear Current Nation,

The 2014 regular season has come to a close, but we have one more game in D.C. – the Eastern Conference Finals! Your D.C. Current will take on the rival Boston Whitecaps on June 28 at 7 p.m. and you are all invited!

We could not be more excited to be hosting this game in front of the best fans in Major League Ultimate. Our fans are a BIG reason we are in this very position and we want to be able to celebrate one more time with our extended family.

YOU, the collective masses that rock Cardinal Stadium each week are critical to our success.
It was YOU that transformed our home field into the D.C. Dojo.
It was YOU that made D.C. the most feared home team in the league.
It was YOU that screamed your hearts out, rang your cowbells and chanted D-C-Deeeeeeeeee! at every turn.
And it will be YOU that will help carry us to victory and a berth in the MLU Championship game on July 19 at PPL Park in Philadelphia.

Because of all this and more, we have dropped our ticket prices for this game only.

Regular adult ticket: $8

Under 23: $5

Under 12: $2

This is cheaper than any discount code or flash sale we could do, and quite frankly, much cheaper than what our league office would like to us sell them for.

This is not a sale. This is a Thank You.

We are also offering special on-field seating and a chance to purchase autographed Current discs by your favorite players in combination with your ticket!

You have hiked, biked, Metro’ed and driven to CUA each week and made our home games the best in the league. We ask that you do it once more on June 28.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you’re the best fans in the league, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

See you at the Dojo!

Best,

Matt “Dewey” Dewhurst
