Another one of Head Coach Will Smolinski’s talented rookie additions last offseason, Flores quickly became an integral part of the Washington D.C. Current offense in 2016. Through his first three games played with the Current, Flores had quickly tallied four goals, seven assists and a block on just 43 points played.

A confident and capable hybrid, Flores registered at least a goal or assist in every game for the 2016 Current. As a rookie, Flores finished in the Top 5 on the team in goals (11) and assists (12) and ended the season behind only veterans Lloyd Blake and Delrico Johnson in terms of total scoring. As Coach Smolinski plans for the future of the Current, you can bet that Flores will factor heavily into his offensive strategy.
