Work for the DC Current to change the face of Ultimate!

Do you want to help bring professional Ultimate to the next level? Do you want to contribute to the success of the DC Current? Are you interested in generating online content, filming games and team events, or creating online media and graphics?

Several internships are available with the DC Current for the inaugural season of Major League Ultimate. The DC Current are seeking individuals who are skilled in their field, willing to learn, and passionate about the future of Ultimate and the MLU.

While the ongoing team selection process has the coaches and players working to put the best possible team on the field, there is much off-field work to be completed. The team behind the team must be assembled.

We are looking to fill the following positions immediately:

Writing Intern
Film Intern
Graphics Intern

Work in the nation’s capital for the newest addition to the DC sports renaissance:  Playoff appearances by 4 of 5 D.C. teams (Redskins, Nationals, Capitals and United) added to the Wizards recent winning streaks make it a great time for sports in DC. About The Author

Paul has worked in online content, freelance writing and education for the past ten years. A native of Baltimore with roots in Philadelphia and Los Angeles, Paul grew up in a family of Ultimate enthusiasts. He graduated with his undergraduate degree in English from Goucher College in Baltimore and his Masters in Education also from Goucher. Paul was the captain of Goucher College Ultimate and then played with the Philadelphia Area Disc Alliance, Central Maryland Ultimate Association and the Los Angeles Organization of Ultimate Teams. As the Director of Content, Paul handles the online content for the MLU site and eight team sites.
